Scholastic Achievement

An award of $1,500 will be granted each semester to the member who has made the greatest contribution to sustaining or elevating the Chapter's GPA. This contribution may be achieved through personal GPA enhancement or by actively tutoring fellow members, resulting in an overall improvement in the Chapter's average GPA. While individual
GPA improvement (beyond the Chapter minimum) is considered, preference is strongly given to a brother who has played a pivotal role in assisting others in enhancing their academic performance. Awards for the Spring and Fall semesters will be presented in May and September, respectively.

Chapter and Campus Involvement

A $1,500 award will be presented each semester to a member who, through personal initiative, has significantly enhanced the living and learning environment within the Chapter while actively promoting Lambda Chi values through campus or civic engagement. Examples of qualifying contributions include cost-saving measures, house repairs, communication of safety concerns to fellow brothers, and successful negotiations with contractors. Additional considerations involve fostering increased community participation in charitable events and committee service on campus.
Moreover, the assessment encompasses active involvement in all chapter activities, such as work calls, daily chores, initiation team, float building, cudgel building, chapter committees, chapter leadership, and intramurals. Second and
third-place candidates may also be recognized with awards of $1,000 and $500, respectively.

Needs Based

In order to be eligible, a member must be in good standing, residing in the chapter house, and actively participating
in all chapter activities and responsibilities. Additionally, the member should strive to meet as many of the following
criteria as possible:

1. Maintain good standing with the house and avoid scholastic probation.

2. A commendable academic performance, considering both the most current and average GPA

3. Actively participate in and represent the chapter in registered student organizations.
